加州保持了长达97个月的就业增长还在持续，在过去的一年中，当地的老板们又招聘了多达333,000名员工，失业率在一个月内下降到了4.3%。
以下是我们根据国家就业发展部月度报告中的一些可靠数据总结出的8月份加州就业市场分析，我们对加州8月份数据，前一年数据以及前五年平均数据之间做了对比。
1，工作人数：1713万人，前一年为1679万人，增长了333,000人，就业增长率达到1.98%，5年平均数据则为1588万人，这也创造了本世纪月度工作人数之最。
2，就业增长率：这个月的就业增长率是1.98%，前一年是1.99%，而两年前的就业增长率是2.41%。
3，经济复苏：加州从2010年8月开始，经历了连续长达97个月的就业增长，在这次后经济衰退时期的反弹中，加州总共创造了291万个就业岗位，年化增长率达到2.36%。（之前的增长周期保持了50个月，于2008年2月结束，创造了899,000个工作岗位，年增长率达到1.5%）而且，在8年的时间里，这些新增的就业岗位占到了美国总新增就业岗位的15%。
4，失业率：4.3%，前一个月的数据是4.4%，一年前的数据是4.9%，5年的平均失业率则是6.9%，这也是本世纪加州月度失业率的最低记录，美国全国8月的失业率数据是3.9%。
5，失业人数：825,600人，一年前为959,000人，减少133,400人，下降了13.9%，而5年平均数据是1310,000人。
6，制造业就业人数：224万人，前一年为219万人，增加了46,300人，增长率2.1%，过去5年平均数据是203万人。
7，服务业就业人数：1489万人，前一年为1461万人，增加了286,700人，增长率2.0%，过去5年平均是1385万，这是自2000年以来服务业工作人数最多的一个月。
8，私营企业就业人数：1465万人，前一年为1436万人，增加了296,900人，增长率2.1%，过去5年平均数据是1343万人，这也是本世纪私企雇佣人数最多的一个月。
9，政府部门就业人数：247万人，前一年为244万人，增加了36,100人，增长率1.5%，5年平均数据是245万人，这也是本世纪最多的政府部门就业人数。
