经济上行 内陆帝国商业活动规模稳步增长

根据加州大学河滨商学院经济预测与发展中心最新发布的内陆帝国商业活动指数显示，尽管美国与其他一些主要贸易伙伴之间正在发生着贸易冲突，但这并没有影响内陆帝国区域在商业活动上的表现，内陆帝国的商业活动规模仍在稳步增长中。
该商业活动指数在每季度都会跟踪内陆帝国区域的商业表现，并根据季节性波动做出相应的调整，该指数以范围广泛的经济数据为基础，其中包括就业、总经济产量、收入、房地产以及其他各种在国家、州和都市层面上的经济数据，由此来评估并预测内陆帝国的整体经济表现。
我们可以看到，尽管美国与其他国家正在发生贸易争端，但2018年第一，第二季度内陆帝国的商业活动规模仍在稳步增长，预计近期内，内陆帝国的商业活动规模将继续扩大，该指数的制定是根据就业数据以及其他一些经济数据得来，内陆帝国的商业活动规模在2018年第二季度的年化增长率为2.6%，略高于第一季度(2.2%)的增长率。
回顾过去一年(2017年第二季度至2018年第二季度)，内陆帝国的经济表现明显优于全国的整体表现，内陆帝国的商业活动规模增长了4.0%，而美国GDP增长了2.8%。
展望未来，我们预计2018年第三季度内陆帝国的商业活动规模将继续增长2.5%至3.0%。
该商业活动指数作者之一、加州大学河滨商学院经济预测与发展中心执行主任罗伯特·克莱因亨茨(Robert Kleinhenz)表示：“第二季度，国内生产总值(GDP)大幅增长，其原因部分来源于金融行业和IT行业的加速发展，虽然与整个国家相比，内陆帝国在这两个行业上的表现并不突出，但是如果考虑到内陆帝国的商业活动规模正在持续不断扩大，并且这里有着创纪录的低失业率以及超过南加州其他地区的高就业增长率，你就不难发现，内陆帝国的经济发展正处于非常坚实的上升通道中。”
克莱因亨茨还指出，“内陆帝国是一个依赖物流行业的地区，今年余下的时间里，内陆帝国的经济将继续增长，经济预测与发展中心预计，到2018年第三季度，内陆帝国的商业活动规模将增加2.5%到3.0%。
