加州失业率稳步下降 南加州就业机会持续增长

1月19日，加州就业发展局发布的最新数据显示,加州失业率稳步下降,12月份的失业率降至4.3%,低于11月份的4.6%,也是1976年以来的历史新低水平。12月份，内陆帝国的就业岗位同比去年增加3.4%，共1,509,600个工作机会；相比之下，整个加州的就业岗位同比去年增加了2.1%。
除就业岗位增加之外，河滨县和圣贝纳迪诺县的劳动力也同比增长了1.9%,这可能是由于沿海地区住房成本居高不下，带来的内陆帝国的家庭数量有所增加。数据显示，建筑行业同比去年新增就业岗位14,300个，是全行业中最多的。
12月份，内陆帝国地区失业率为4.1%，环比上月保持不变，与全美持平。加州的失业率环比11月份下降0.3%，同比去年更是下降了0.9%。相比之下，12月份全美4.1%的失业率环比11月份持平，但同比去年下降了0.6%。就洛杉矶县而言，其12月份的失业率降至4.4%，环比11月份下降0.1%，更是低于去年同期5.1%的失业率水平。
据加州就业发展局发布的消息显示，11月-12月期间洛杉矶县非农就业岗位增加8,300个,超过450万，其中，贸易、运输和公用事业新增岗位最多，为3,300个。就橙县而言，其目前仍然保持着很好的就业水平。12月份的失业率已经下降至2.8％，低于11月份的2.9％，更低于上年同期的3.5％。只有少数北加州的郡县- 旧金山、马林和圣马特奥 -保持较低的失业率，这主要得益于以湾区为中心。
